My name is Coralie and I'm lucky enough to live on Jersey; the largest of the very beautiful British Channel Islands. I'd like to share some information about me and my online business with you. 
When I was 7 months pregnant, my (now) husband asked me to marry him.
"Better late than never!" my friends joked, but I was delighted and thrilled.
We were proud and happy to be having our much-wanted baby together and getting married was to be the icing on our cake.
Then reality struck!
and we came right back down to earth!
There were plenty of bridal magazines and guides for brides, but not even a sniff of anything mentioning maternity. Nothing seemed to be about me and my situation ... I felt like a freak!
And when I tried to find a maternity wedding dress, the styles on offer were very limited and I felt distinctly unglamorous ... let's not mention the snooty attitude of some of the shop assistants I came across!
Bottom line ... we postponed our wedding until after our son Ben was born ... 3 years after!
And this problem was not just about me ... my best friend had a similar experience less than 12 months later and I've since talked to many other women who found it hard to have the wedding day they wanted when they were pregnant.
Some admitted to settling for second best ... others postponed their big day as I did. Every one of them said it was a very stressful time.
My passion was fired!
... helping pregnant women achieve their dream wedding.
Starting out from my back-bedroom, working evenings when my son was asleep, I trawled the internet to find the best designers of maternity wedding dresses and maternity bridesmaid dresses.
I've asked pregnant women about what tips would have helped them plan their weddings and I've asked professional wedding planners for their advice about how a bride on a limited time budget can still achieve her dream "big day".

I wanted to produce an online maternity wedding guide, but I had absolutely no experience of web design and wasn't really sure how to get started.
"Have you gone mad?" asked my friends. "What do YOU know about an online business or websites? They worried about me!
If I'm completely honest, the sheer number of companies out there in cyber space offering to help me build my online business was completely overwhelming. It was hard just to work out what would be the best solution for me.
