High Heel Wedding Shoes

High heel wedding shoes can be an option for pregnant brides ... but only if you're sensible and follow some simple rules!

1. Restrict the amount of time you spend in them!
2. Check with your doctor or midwife if there's any medical reason you shouldn't wear some fabulous heels just for a few hours on your big day
3. Have a comfortable pair of flat or low-heel shoes on hand to change into once the photos have all been taken (or earlier if your feet hurt!)
4. Get yourself some easy-to-use shoe pads!
5. Check where you will be walking in your heels ... will there be steps, uneven ground or a slippery surface? Plan how to cope with such hazards or re-think your dream shoes!
6. How will you be getting to and from the ceremony? A car journey or short walk should be straightforward ... but combining high heel wedding shoes, a pregnant bride and a horse and carriage might just be too risky for your safety!

Will you be in your 3rd trimester by the wedding date?

It's probably safer ... and much more comfortable ... to choose sexy wedding shoes you love ... with a lower heel!
