I loved every minute of being a pregnant bride!

Ash and me never thought we'd be able to have a baby - we'd been together for more than 15 years and stopped practising safe sex after 2 years. But nothing happened and the doctors told us we should start to prepare ourselves for 'alternatives'.

Can you imagine our joy after 3 failed IVF attempts when we found out I was expecting - totally naturally - at the age of 41! The icing on the cake was when Ash asked me to marry him. And he wanted to get married straight away - before baby arrived.

Our wedding was brilliant - a big happy day surrounded by everyone we love and who loves us.

As I was 22 weeks pregnant, I did buy a totally gorgeous long ivory silk maternity wedding dress - from Tiffany Rose. I felt like a Princess and Ash was quite emotional when he saw me. Oh - and I got so many compliments, I felt great!
