The couple who have been inseparable since meeting at the 2000 Sydney Olympics exchanged their vows in Federer's home town of Basel in Switzerland, surrounded by an intimate group of close friends and family.

With trademark dedication to his sport, Federer skipped any chance of a honeymoon and jetted off immediately to Monte Carlo to compete in the Rolex Masters tournament.

And the lovely pregnant bride Mirka? Well, Monte Carlo isn't the worst place to hang around for your man is it?
