No White Maternity Wedding Dress For Me!

I just love this site but it's too late for me!

When I got married in 1983 it was so embarrassing to be a pregnant bride. My mom was upset ... my dad was furious and my fiance was just plain scared. Oh - and half my relatives snubbed the whole occasion. Plus it was touch and go whether our priest would marry us in church but he gave in eventually!

Choosing something to wear was a whole different can of worms because I wanted a traditional white wedding dress and mom said 'absolutely no way'. I ended up wearing a pale lemon dress that my auntie ran up for me, which was OK but not as pretty as the dresses available today.

Thank goodness attitudes have changed now.
