1. It will tough to be on your feet all day ... so look for workarounds. Weddings can be long and tiring at the best of times and pregnant women get very tired ... especially in the first and third trimester of pregnancy!


2. Think about when you will be able to get some rest breaks.


3. Take your time to find the perfect maternity bridesmaid dress. It will need to be comfortable, attractive AND complement the style of the rest of the wedding party.


4. Check that the wedding menu has options suitable for a pregnant bridesmaid and that there will be plenty of soft drinks on hand. Find out which foods you CAN eat here.


5. Know when you can take comfort breaks! When you're pregnant you need to pee often!

6. Find out if you can sit down through the wedding ceremony and work out where to sit.


7. Make sure your wedding shoes won't be torture by the end of the day! Whether you're going to be the only bridesmaid or not, you'll be able to find a low heeled or ballerina style that's pretty, comfortable and fits in with the wedding theme.


8. Where will the wedding be taking place? Will you need to travel for a long time and will you be far away from your regular doctor?
