Stressful maternity wedding planning!

We got engaged at Christmas and got married in early June. Originally we wanted a late summer wedding, but in March I found out that I was pregnant.

I didn't want to get married with an 8 months pregnant baby bump so we decided to get married as soon as possible hoping that I wouldn’t be showing too much.

It took 3 months to plan everything and we could really have done with those extra months we would have had if I hadn't been pregnant. Although everything ended up just the way we wanted it, it was all very rushed and that meant we had a very stressful couple of months. Thank God for our brilliant families!

I wouldn’t reccommend taking less than six months to prepare a wedding, but it's perfectly possible to get the wedding you want if you do!
