Too slow to be a pregnant bride!

I was almost 5 months pregnant before I even admitted to myself that I was expecting! Amazingly I managed to hide my bump from my family for another month, so I was 6 months gone before anyone else knew about the baby ... which didn't leave much time for planning anything.

My boyfriend was on a tour of duty in the Middle East when the 'news' broke and wasn't due back until after my due date, so although I would like us to have gotten married before Daisy arrived, it just wasn't possible.

So many people didn't hold out much hope that our relationship would last. Well 22 years on, with 3 more fantastic kids, Karl and I are still going strong. And still in love ...

Keep it secret!

If your family is a nightmare, I'd keep it a secret - but be prepared for the fallout! My best mate did the same and her family still give out about not being at her wedding (six years on).

Hoping to be a secret pregnant bride

We're getting married in two months time and have been planning (and saving) for the wedding for nearly 2 years. I was really shocked to find out last month that I will be a pregnant bride - we had been careful but accidents happen!. I will be 16 weeks on the big day.
We haven't told anyone yet and I'm not sure I want to until after the wedding, so I'm hoping I won't be showing and can still fit into my dress as planned.
It's not selfish to want to enjoy my wedding then get on with the pregnancy is it? I'm so worried that our families will just go into hyper-drive if they find out about the baby earlier! Love to hear your advice.
