Too slow to be a pregnant bride!

I was almost 5 months pregnant before I even admitted to myself that I was expecting! Amazingly I managed to hide my bump from my family for another month, so I was 6 months gone before anyone else knew about the baby ... which didn't leave much time for planning anything.

My boyfriend was on a tour of duty in the Middle East when the 'news' broke and wasn't due back until after my due date, so although I would like us to have gotten married before Daisy arrived, it just wasn't possible.

So many people didn't hold out much hope that our relationship would last. Well 22 years on, with 3 more fantastic kids, Karl and I are still going strong. And still in love ...
